Product Overview:

This all-in-one, comprehensive kit contains everything you need to get up and running with a 16-channel, OpenBCI biosensing suite.
The OpenBCI 32bit Board and OpenBCI Daisy Module (which plugs into the OpenBCI 32bit Board) can be used to sample brain activity (EEG), muscle activity (EMG), and heart activity (EKG). The system communicates wirelessly to a computer via the OpenBCI programmable USB dongle, which is based on the RFDuino radio module. It can also communicate wirelessly to any mobile device or tablet compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
If you are only interested in using the OpenBCI system for research and don’t care about the hardware, don’t fret! The board and dongle come pre-loaded with the latest firmware, making OpenBCI accessible to researchers and developers with little to no hardware experience. OpenBCI boards have a growing list of data output formats, making them compatible with an expanding collection of existing biofeedback applications and tools.
This kit does not come with EEG conductive paste. We recommend using industry-standard EEG electrode paste to adhere the electrodes to the scalp and body. Some EEG paste options include:

Product Description

The Ultracortex Mark III “Supernova” is the fully-upgraded version of the "Nova"—our latest 3D-printed Biosensing Headset. It is a solid upgrade from the original Mark III released last Fall. The headset is designed to be almost entirely 3D-printable by means of any desktop 3D printer—such as the LulzBot TAZ 5. The headset uses spring-loaded, dry, Ag-AgCl electrodes. No more messy gel! It is highly modular and designed to be adjustable for maximum comfort and signal quality.
This product can be purchased as ‘Print It Yourself’, with the expectation that you’ll be doing all of the 3D-printing. It can also purchased ‘Unassembled’ where you receive all of the parts, but you still need toassemble the headset yourself. In addition, we are now offering a ‘Pro-Assembled’ version. If you select this option, you will receive a professionally-assembled headset, ready for use with no assembly required! Don't forget to buy a board, however. The Ultracortex Mark III "Supernova" is intended for use with any of the OpenBCI board kits (sold separately):
For previous Ultracortex Mark III customers, we are now offering a UCM3-to-Nova Upgrade Kit, that provides all the pieces necessary to convert your original Mark III into a Mark III “Nova.” To upgrade a "Nova" into a "Supernova," all you need is the 16chan Expa
